...in my head, at least. I'm not going to curse out loud, much as I really, REALLY want to.
So what has me so irritated? I was enjoying a nice lunch outside at the cafeteria next door, just about to finish off my salmon burger, when I see a yellow and black blur land on my food in the corner of my eye.
Just as I'm about to take a bite.
So by the time my slow brain has registered, "Gee, that's a yellow jacket" and "Maybe you should shoo it away before biting into that burger"...
It stung me.
On my tongue.
And now half my tongue is really hurting (although thankfully, not swollen) and I'm really cranky at the moment. No obvious allergic reactions, aside from the pain.
Oh, and the yellow jacket? I managed to squish it with my shoe. Petty? Yeah, but I was feeling vindictive at the time. And I'm amazed I managed not to swear in front my boss, who was eating lunch with me at the time.

And, yellow jackets deserve to die, even without such insulting injury.

You know you can do a baking soda paste for stings on other parts of the body but in the world can you do when the mouth gets stung?
And thats why I don;t like eating outside. too many bugs.
